About the Role

PRAI Inc. is seeking a world-class PhD-level Robotics Engineer to lead the development of a humanoid robot designed specifically for outdoor marketing campaigns. This is a pioneering initiative aimed at redefining public advertising through AI-powered, human-like machines capable of walking, interacting, and performing in real-world environments.

This role is focused on practical implementation, field deployment, and high-visibility public engagement—not theoretical development.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack development of a life-sized humanoid robot

• Engineer advanced joint mechanics, actuators, and control systems for outdoor use

• Integrate AI-based voice, facial expression, and gesture capabilities

• Ensure durability through weatherproofing, thermal regulation, and rugged locomotion

• Collaborate with AI, PR, and creative teams to develop the robot as a marketing performer

• Oversee rapid prototyping, real-world testing, and future scalability

Requirements

• PhD in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field (Required)

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in humanoid, social, or bipedal robotics

• Expertise in:

  • ROS, C++/Python, and embedded systems

  • Kinematics, dynamics, and locomotion algorithms

  • Real-time control and sensor fusion (LIDAR, vision, IMUs)

• Proven track record in real-world robotics deployment

• Strong interest in innovation, marketing, and public-facing technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in animatronics, performance robots, or expressive mechatronics

• Background in experiential marketing, branding, or live event robotics

• Knowledge of mobile power systems, heat dissipation, and adaptive terrain navigation
